Materials & Craft
Thoughtfully made, from start to finish.
Thoughtful from the Start
From the beginning, we’ve tried to keep things simple and intentional.
Every step—from sourcing and sampling to production and delivery—is thought through carefully. Not to do more, but to avoid doing things unnecessarily.
We work in small batches, based on what people actually want.
It helps us avoid making too much, reduces waste, and keeps everything a bit more balanced.
Materials We Choose
The materials we use affect everything—how a piece looks, how it feels, and how it holds up over time.We tend to choose materials that feel reliable and easy to wear. Nothing complicated—just pieces that look right and continue to feel right over time.
Craft & Finishing
This is really where everything comes together.
Most of our pieces are made from gold-plated sterling silver. It has a solid feel, but still looks clean and refined—something you can wear often without overthinking it.
Our silver pieces are rhodium-plated. It helps bring out a brighter finish and slows down natural oxidation, so they stay looking clean for longer.
For gold tones, we use a vermeil technique—applying a layer of gold over sterling silver. It gives a softer, warmer surface while keeping the strength underneath.
From plating to polishing, everything is done step by step. A lot of the finishing is still done by hand, gradually refining the surface until it feels smooth and complete.
Materials in Detail
Gold-Plated Sterling Silver
Most of our pieces are made from gold-plated sterling silver. It’s a material that feels balanced—strong enough for everyday wear, but still refined.
The gold layer is applied using a vermeil technique. A base of sterling silver (925 silver) is coated with 18-karat gold through a galvanisation process. The layer is built to a meaningful thickness, which helps with both durability and color.
Each piece is then polished by hand, giving it a smooth, mirror-like finish that brings out the natural shine of the material.
Freshwater Pearls
Our freshwater pearls come from environments that avoid the use of harsh chemicals.
Natural filtration helps keep the water clean, and each pearl develops in its own way. No two are exactly the same—and that’s part of what makes them interesting.
Moissanite
Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone known for how it interacts with light.
It reflects light in a lively way, creating a bright, clean sparkle that feels modern without being overwhelming.
We like it for how it adds light to a piece—without feeling like too much.

A More Responsible Approach
We try to be more thoughtful about how things are made.Any leftover metal from production is collected and reused whenever possible. Water used in the process is filtered before it’s released. It’s not about getting everything right all at once. Just about doing things a little better, step by step.
